Until 10 March The first monograph in Europe dedicated to Pier Francesco Foschi (1502-1567), Florentine painter. The exhibition, curated by Cecilie Hollberg, which the Accademia Gallery dedicates to this artist who was very well known during his lifetime but unfortunately fell into oblivion after his death. A pupil of Andrea del Sarto, he also collaborated with Pontormo; his long and successful career took place during the central decades of the sixteenth century.
