THE CITY OF VASARI

Municipality of Arezzo, Fondazione CR Firenze with Fondazione Guido D' Arezzo present a program of itineraries and exhibitions, from May 2024 to February 2025, to celebrate the genius of the great Arezzo artist, 450 years after his death. 10 exhibitions including monumental works and rare documents, in his city of origin.
The centerpiece of the initiative is a major international exhibition, “Giorgio Vasari. The theater of Virtues”, in September at the Municipal Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art.
The itinerary opens in May with the exhibition "For the glory of art and honor of the artists: Vasari, immortal writer and artist" at the Municipal Library (until July).
