Until Sept 15 the new exhibition “Ritorni. From Modigliani to Morandi", on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the museum's inauguration, showcasing one of its most prized collections: the Alberto Della Ragione Collection.
From Sat June 22 Louise Bourgeois in Florence, also at the Museo degli Innocenti. The most extensive collection of red gouaches by Louise Bourgeois with a thematic focus on the mother and child motif. Until 20 October.

After important redevelopment works, the La Specola Museum reopens with new routes - botanical waxes and mineralogy - and the historic collections of zoology and anatomical waxes.

CALCIO STORICO FIORENTINO

Like every year in June, the Historical Football tournament takes place in Piazza Santa Croce which sees a draw between the 4 historic districts of Florence. The semi-finals are played on Sat 1 and Sun 2. On Saturday the Greens of San Giovanni face the Azzurri of Santa Croce, while on Sunday the Reds of Santa Maria Novella challenge the Whites of Santo Spirito. The final on Sat 15. 

FIERA AGRICOLA DEL MUGELLO

From Thu 6 to Sun 9 the traditional annual event dedicated to agriculture and livestock farming at the Foro Boario in Borgo San Lorenzo. You can admire animals bred in Tuscany and beyond: from cattle to sheep, from goats to pigs, through poultry and horses.
